Confluence connects over OAuth through Atlassian’s 3LO flow, so there’s no token to create — you authorize with Atlassian and pick the Confluence site to link.

What you can do

Actions — list pages, get page, create page, update page. Triggers — start an automation when a page is created or updated in a watched space.

Access it requests

Authorizing grants read and write access to pages and read access to spaces on the Atlassian site you pick during connect. Confluence runs on a separate Atlassian app from Jira, so connect it separately even if it’s the same site.

Open Integrations

In arg.ai, go to Settings → Integrations.

Connect Confluence

Find Confluence and click Connect. An Atlassian consent screen opens.

Authorize and choose a site

Approve the requested access and choose the Confluence site to link. You’re returned to arg.ai with Confluence connected.
There’s no search action - Atlassian’s granular scopes have no CQL-search permission. List pages in a space or fetch a page by its ID instead.

Use it

  • In chat: “Create a Confluence page in the Engineering space titled ‘Release Notes 2.4’ with the changelog below.”
  • In an automation: start a flow from the Page trigger to react to new or updated pages, or add a Confluence action node to create or update a page.
