Vapi connects with an API key you copy from the Vapi dashboard.

What you can do

Actions — list assistants, get assistant, create call, list calls, get call, list phone numbers. Triggers — none. Use it through the assistant in chat or as an action node in an automation.

Get your credential

Open the Vapi dashboard

Sign in at dashboard.vapi.ai.

Copy your Private Key

Go to Org Settings → API Keys and copy your Private Key (not the public key).

Connect

Open Integrations

In arg.ai, go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Vapi.

Paste the key

Enter the Private Key in the API key field. arg.ai sends it as a Bearer token.

Save

arg.ai verifies the key against your Vapi account and connects it.

Use it

  • In chat: “Create a Vapi call from my support assistant to +1 555 123 4567.”
  • In an automation: add a Vapi action node to place a call or pull a call record as a step in your flow.
