What you can do
Actions- Across the CRM (read-only): search CRM records and get a CRM record for companies, deals, tickets, and contacts; list the records associated with one record (the deals on a contact, the contacts on a company); list owners; list record properties.
- Contacts: search contacts, get contact, create contact, update contact.
Access it requests
Authorizing grants read access to contacts, companies, deals, and tickets on the HubSpot portal you connect, to the owners records are assigned to, and to the field definitions on contacts, companies, and deals. Write access is limited to contacts - nothing else in the CRM can be changed. Every permission is available on all HubSpot tiers, including free, so the connection does not depend on which HubSpot subscription your portal has.A HubSpot connection made before the CRM read permissions were added is marked Grant access in
Settings → Integrations. Choose it to re-authorize the same connection in place - the
connection id survives, so automations that use it keep working. Until you do, the contact actions
keep running and the wider CRM actions report missing access.

- In chat: “Find the open deals owned by Sam at Acme in HubSpot, then summarize the tickets on that company.”
- In chat: “Create a HubSpot contact for [email protected] named Jane Doe, then find any existing contacts at acme.com.”
- In an automation: start a flow from the Contact trigger to react to new contacts, or add a HubSpot action node to read a deal or create a contact.
