Linear connects over OAuth, so there’s no token to create — you authorize the arg.ai app and it acts with your account’s access.

What you can do

Actions — search issues, create issue, update issue, add comment. Triggers — start an automation when an issue is created or updated, or a comment is created or updated.

Authorizing grants read and write access to issues and comments.

Connect

Open Integrations

In arg.ai, go to Settings → Integrations.

Connect Linear

Find Linear and click Connect. A Linear consent screen opens.

Authorize

Review the requested access and approve. You’re returned to arg.ai with Linear connected.

Use it

  • In chat: “Create a Linear issue titled ‘Login button misaligned on mobile’ in the Frontend team and add a comment with the repro steps.”
  • In an automation: start a flow from the Issue trigger to react to new issues, or add a Linear action node to create or update an issue.
